Olivier Antoine had his initiation into the performing arts when he met the fairground theatre company Les baladins du miroir at 12 years old. After studying fine art and training at the International School of Theater Lassaad, he joined the company of Mario Gonzalez where he worked as an actor and director, as well as being teacher at the Cnac and at the Conservatoire de Paris. He subsequently continued to train with Alexandre del Perugia, Patricia Sterlin, Nicolas Karpov, Irina Promptova and the collective Bouffons de Luxe.
He has directed performances such as Sortie 8,9,10 at the Parc de la Villette in Paris, Affabulation at the Halles de Schaerbeek in Brussels and at the Théâtre Royale of Namur, A deux pas de là-haut at Lisbon's Cultugest, Maravilla at the Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona, … and collaborates on various shows with companies such as Barocco theater, Theater de la Passerelle, Hirsute Circus, company Un loup pour l’homme, Aïtal Circus, company O Ultimo Momento , company Morosof, company plume de cheval, ...
For many years, he has taught at the Ecole Supérieure of Circus Arts in Brussels, the National Center for Circus Arts as well as the National Institute of Music Hall Arts at Mans. Recently, he has toured under the direction of Béatrice Pollet, Yann Gozlan and Bruno Garcia and directed Flavie Avargues in Pour vous être agréable by Franca Rame and Dario Fo.
