Anja Eberhart

Her life began on February 20, 1993 in Zurich. Anja grew up there, accompanied by her family, people, plants and objects. There is a friend among them named James Samuel. This is her bike.

Anja's story with cycling began in 2005, in a sports club. Little by little, with her "friend", they leave the sports world to explore their possibilities in other fields. At the same time, Anja continues to practice music, theatre, winter sports and scouting.

After completing her high school diploma in music (an equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in "excellence"), she went on to study at the University of Sport and Theoretical Theatre in Bern, then at the University of Pedagogy in Zurich. At the same time, she is developing her training in theatre at the Scuola Teatro Dimitri in Verscio (Switzerland) and in the circus arts through a social activity in Zip Zap Circus (Cape Town in South Africa).

It is there, on the other side of the world, that she finds herself on the path to a life that appears obvious to her: a life as a circus artist. She follows this path which leads her in 2015 to Châlons-en-Champagne, at the Centre national des arts du cirque (Cnac).

Anja likes to play, share and move. In 2016, she replaced Serge Huercio in the show Roue libre by the company Les Nouveaux Nez.
Her heart beats as she explores art and the occasional random little moments in life, and she is delighted to be discovering their rhythm.
