2019 Selections Cnac Chalons and Enacr Rosny

Entrance examination from the 6th to the 10th of May 2019 at the Cnac in Châlons-en-Champagne

CNAC Châlons and ENACR Rosny-sous-Bois have jointly developed a three-year educational programme in collaboration with the Unit of Training and Research for Arts of the Jules Verne University in Amiens.

This course allows the awarding of the Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel d’Artiste de Cirque (Higher National Circus Artist Diploma) (level II diploma) and the possibility of obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Performing Arts, with a specialisation in Circus Arts. The latter is awarded by Jules Verne Picardie University. This initiative is part of the European framework (Bologna Agreements) for higher education.

Outline of the ENACR / CNAC curriculum

Year 1: DSNP 1 (ENACR Rosny)/ Entrance examination
Year 2: DNSP 2 (CNAC Châlons)
Year 3: DNSP 3 (CNAC Châlons)
followed by one year of vocational training in professional integration: group graduation show and support for individual projects.

The CNAC is responsible for the organisation of the Admission examination for the
Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel d'Artiste de Cirque (Higher National Circus Artist Diploma) / DNSP.

This examination will take place from the 6th to the 10th of May 2019 at the CNAC

Preparation for higher education

Prior to the joint Dnsp curriculum, ENACR Rosny-sous-Bois will now provide a two-year diploma course (BATC 1 and 2). A successful completion of these two years leads to the BATC (Brevet artistique des techniques du cirque) (Artistic Certificate in Circus Techniques). This Level 4 diploma is awarded jointly by the Ministrie of National Education and the Ministrie of Culture.

This training is designed to prepare students for French and international higher education schools, including the CNAC. Recruitment also takes place through entrance exams. 

For the 2018/2019 year, the entrance examination will take place from the 8th to the 12th of July 2019 at Enacr Rosny-sous-Bois.
