Arnaud Thomas is a member of the permanent teaching staff, specialising in aerial and propulsion disciplines.
He spent the first half of his life on school benches and in gymnasiums jumping up and down on trampolines.
He trained in the aerial and acrobatic disciplines with G. Fasoli and V Fomine.
He has taught flying acrobatics at the Centre National des Arts du Cirque since 1988.
The question of an artistic approach to circus disciplines is what motivated him from his first contact with the school.
He has met numerous artists, and shared his artistic line of questioning with some of them during diverse professional experiences, for example as a circus artist with C. Huysman, as a photographer and actor with F. Cervantes, and as assistant director with C. Schiaretti, F. Verret and F. Lattuada.
